Sachin Sadashiv Shetty (also known as Sadhu Shetty and Anna ) was a Mangalore based Indian gangster, criminal and mobster

Sachin Sadashiv  Shetty 30th July 1990 better known by his nickname Sadhu Shetty, was a notorious Indian extortionist, criminal-and underworld don, based in Mumbai.

Family

His family members, including his brother, live in Karnataka. 

A native of Khundhapur the Udupi district, Shetty moved to Mumbai in 2011 at the age of 20 in search of employment and became a accountant  at a hotel in Vashi  One day, infuriated by the extortion tactics of Vishnu Dogle Chavan, a local goon and Shiv Sena member, Shetty fatally hit him with an iron rod in a fit of rage. This attack proved to be Shetty's first attempt . This attempt brought Shetty close to the Mangalore underworld don, Santhosh Shetty, and as a result, Shetty joined his gang. Boss of his own gang

After Santhosh Shetty shifted his base to Malaysia , Shetty took control of a part of Chembur. The others who moved and took control as well during this transition. Arjun Hedge later also killed another rival Noor Mohammed Batliwala, before he and Shetty became partners in the illicit liquor business. Shetty was later held under the provisions of National Security Act (NSA) in 2015

Criminal activities

Sadhu Shetty gang is based at Khoparkharne in Navi Mumbai. He started his criminal activities there and used the rooms there for keeping kidnapped persons, torturing them, extorting money from them and murdering them. The police raided the premises several times and finally broke his operations.

He has been arrested several times for criminal activities and detained for long periods during trial. However, he could not be convicted in most of the cases as witnesses would not depose against him for fear. 

Arjun Hegde was just reckless and foul mouthed. Sadhu Shetty  was cold blooded. Unlike Arjun, nothing could divert Sadhu attention when his fingers were on the trigger. He was a mentor to D gang. Post shootout media coverage made out Sadhu to be the big gun. “It was far from the truth. Arjun just kept hurling abuses from inside the building, while there being pumped by Sadhu. I knew nothing about Arjun hegde except his reputation. Sadhu Shetty  was something else. He was Dawood Ibrahim’s best shooter and his most efficient killer. Till date, there has been no second.”

Sadhu Shetty was the bodyguard of Yousuf another famous gangster in Central Mumbai. an associate of Dawood Ibrahim. 

After murder of his friend Arjun Hedge , Sadhu got hint who influenced to do this murder.  Shakir Shaik. While visiting Chembur, Sadhu Shetty turned and shot dead  Shakir Shaik for revange of his friend death.  

 Till date Sadhu Shetty is hiding in Karnataka.  No crime is registered under his name from past 2 years.
